| I would warn people to take their confirmation sheet with them when checking into this hotel. We had reserved a non-smoking room and when we arrived they had put us in a smoking room. My husband and I have allergies and there was no way we could stay in the smoking room. We went to the check in desk and requested the non-smoking room we reserved. At first we were told there wasn't a non-smoking room available. Somehow a non-smoking room materialized and the rest of our stay was fine. |

| The hotel is a little older, and I feel is in need of a make over. I don't know about other times of the year, but we were told that this area is heavily populated with skunks. It was difficlt to find a place in the hotel room towers where there was not an odor of skunk. |

| The photos do make the beach look much larger, I think it is almost the same size as Harrahs. Employees were very friendly. The bed was awful. Great breakfast special. It is a long way from the other casinos. |

| Great boat launch and beach, much more convenient than anywhere in Laughlin. Never win anything in the casino, but gambling's not really my thing anyway. |

| Good room for the money. Plenty of places to eat and drink. They have a shuttle that takes you to the outlet mall. |

| We spent only one night at the Avi, but would definitely return again. Very nice rooms and a multipilicty of activities at the resort. My shock was thinking the resort was only a mile from the strip. |

| Good value for the buck with great location on the river. Staffing lacks attention to details and personal relations.

| My teenage daughter and I have gone to Laughling four years in a row and the last two have been spent at Avi. Check in couldn't have been easier and faster. The front desk supervisor checked us in and was very observant and noticed my limp and put us closer to the elevator. The valet guys were the best I have ever encountered. When they see you walking to them they start walking to meet you half way. I left something very valuable in the car on accident and when I asked them to retrieve it, it was done so very quickly and when I tried to tip him he really didn't want it, I had to insist. There were two issues during our stay - we always bring our own blanket and comforter to hotels and when I was taking off the hotels bedspread, an earwig was walking under it and the bedspread had many yellow stains on it. At other hotels, the housekeepers take off our comforter when they clean the room and put their bedspread back on no matter how many times I ask to keep ours on during our stay. I left a note for the Avi housekeepers and they kept ours on and did a fantastic job making the bed and leaving us some extra shampoo. On the second night I wanted a beer from the bar. The bar was not busy and it took me 8 minutes to get the bartenders attention and I received dried out limes with my Corona. We will most likely book next years annual mom-daughter getaway at Avi. |
